Kerley is King in Kingston
8th June 2019 – The fourth staging of the Racers Grand Prix in Kingston, Jamaica, saw Fred Kerley (USA) earn victory in the men’s 400m.
Having already won his opening 400m race of the season at the IAAF Diamond League in Shanghai, Fred again controlled the race here to win in a season’s best of 44.49 seconds. Bralon Taplin (GRN) recorded his second fastest time of the season to take fourth place in 45.41 seconds.
There was a very welcome return for Kemar Bailey-Cole (JAM) who having missed the latter part of 2018 to injury was fourth here in a high quality men’s 100m race in 10.15 seconds. Having recently got engaged to Kemar, Ristananna Tracey (JAM) showed how much in tune they are by also taking a fourth place in the women’s 400m hurdles with a time of 55.71 seconds.
