No little improvement for Shamier
21st February 2021 – Shamier Little (USA) wound up her highly successful indoor season with another victory and yet another PB at the fourth leg of American Indoor Track League in Fayetteville.
Racing over 400m, Shamier stamped her authority on the race early as she went through 200m in a swift 23.43 seconds. Then rather than holding on, Shamier only increased her lead over the second circuit to take the win in a huge new personal best of 50.57 seconds.
This is a time which places Shamier third on the 2021 World Rankings List and seventh on the all all time US indoor list which which all the more impressive when considering that the 400m hurdles is actually her specialist event.
