Dina claims AIPS Media award
22nd March 2021 – Having got into the habit of winning awards on the track, Dina Asher-Smith (GBR) has now started to collect them off the track as well.
Shortlisted for the AIPS Media Sports Awards Column of the Year, Dina was announced as the winner at the prestigious virtual ceremony held in Vigevano, Italy. Her piece entitled “Think racism hasn’t affected me? It’s there every day” was published via her monthly column in the Telegraph Women’s Sport section.
On learning of her success, Dina said she was “truly stunned” and thanked those who had helped her through her educational years which had equipped her for the future.
