Toroitich reigns again in Spain
21st December 2014 – Ugandan Timothy Toroitich (UGA) continued his rich vein of form at the 35th edition of Crosse de Venta de Banos in Spain. Having already taken victories in Soria and Alcobendas last month, Toroitich started the race as favourite and duly delivered.
On a flat but testing course that involved jumping down off a track each lap, Timothy sat in with lead group and only hit in the front in 8th kilometer. Although his margin of victory was only 4 seconds Toroitich he was the only man to go inside 35 minutes crossing the line in 34:57. He was presented with a sheep to mark his victory!
