Kemar Bailey-Cole runs 9.99 in Zagreb
3rd September 2013 – Fresh off a win in ISTAF Berlin on Sunday Kemar Bailey-Cole (JAM) ran the sixth sub 10 seconds 100m of his career and 5th of the 2013 season with a time of 9.99 secs for 2nd in the IAAF World Challenge meeting in Zagreb, Croatia. The 21 year old placed 2nd to Mike Rodgers with Justin Gatlin in 3rd. There were two personal best performances from Kenyan athletes. Winny Chebet (KEN) improved her 800m personal best to 1:59.30 for 2nd to Russian Ekaterina Poistogova. Bethwel Birgen (KEN) took two seconds off his 3000m time with 7:37.15 for 4th place.
In Rovereto European 400mH Champion Rhys Wiliams (GBR) placed 3rd in his specialist event in 48.90 secs.
