Usain Bolt wins IAF Athlete of the Year
Monaco – Usain Bolt (JAM) won the IAAF Male Athlete of the Year for the third time to equal the achievement of Hicham El Guerrouj in a glittering awards ceremony in Monaco.
Vivian Cheruiyot, who was the pre event favourite for the Female Athlete of the Year, was controversially overlooked for the main award but was given Performance of the Year.
