Sub 4 for Shannon Rowbury
5th July 2014 – Paris saw the second of two IAAF Diamond League meetings in three days and it played host to some strong performances from PACE athletes. Hellen Obiri (KEN) and Shannon Rowbury (USA) both ran well in the womens 1500m, with Hellen taking third and Shannon breaking new ground as she went under 4 minutes for the first time finishing fifth in 3:59.49.

In the mens 100m that was delayed due to a contested false start, Kemar Bailey-Cole (JAM) did well to compose himself and take fifth place.
Two days earlier in Lausanne, Bailey-Cole had also finished fifth in the 100m, while Matthew Centrowitz (USA) and Bethwel Birgen (KEN) finished seventh and eighth in the 1500m with times of 3:32.70 and 3:32.80 respectively. Rhys Williams (GBR) was eighth in the 400m hurdles.
