Results round up
26th November 2017 – PACE athletes have been in action around the globe over the past couple of weeks producing some very satisfying results.
Cross-country stalwart Timothy Toroitich (UGA) has completed three races in Spain where after a slightly disappointing ninth position in Atapuerca, he was back to his usual high standards by taking second places in both Soria and Alcobendas.
Steph Twell (GBR) joined him in Atapuerca and finished in sixth position, and this weekend placed ninth at the British Trials for the European Cross-Country Championships.
Tom Lancashire (GBR) ran in the inaugural European Haloween meet in Middlefart placing third and then backed that up with a seventh place at the British Trials.
Both Steph and Tom will be hoping for selection to the British team later this week.
On the roads Chris Thompson took the race to the field at the Manchester Thanksgiving Race in Connecticut and only narrowly missed out in the final sprint to take third place. Finally, at the San Sebastian Marathon Hosea Maiyo (brother of Mark Kitpoo) defended his title winning in 2:12:55.
