6th December 2015 – Making her debut over the marathon distance Doris Changeywo (KEN) had the biggest success of her career as she took victory in Singapore on Sunday.

In very humid conditions any possibility of a fast time was ruled out as the race became as much a test of attrition as speed. Doris proved herself to be the strongest though as she moved away from her rivals in the final 2 miles and take the victory in 2:44:26.

Doris had a great build up to the race that included taking second in the Great Scottish Run and third in the Great South Run and now with a positive first experience of the marathon will be looking to run a fast time in a major marathon next time out.
