Fred in fine fettle
21st March 2021 – World Championships 400m Bronze medallist Fred Kerley (USA) gave another indication that his training is going well when running not one but two 100m PB’s on Saturday in Miami.
Stepping down in distance at the Tropical Park Elite Sprints Meet Fred won his heat in a then PB of 10.15 seconds. He came for the final later in the day and ran faster again to take second place in 10.11 seconds.
The previous week, multiple World Champion Hellen Obiri (KEN) won the 10,000m at the Athletics Kenya meeting in Nairobi with a winning time of 31:24.7.
