Trayvon Bromell runs 10.04 secs 100m in Florida

4th July 2020 – 2016 World Indoor 60m Champion Trayvon Bromell (USA) returned to competition with a 10.04 secs (+1.6) clocking to win his heat at the Showdown in Otown meet in Monteverde, Florida. The popular 24 year old, who won bronze in the 100m at the 2015 World Championships and made the final at the 2016 Olympic Games and has a PB of 9.84 secs, missed most of the last three years due to injury but under new coach Rana Reider at the Tumbleweed Track Club had a good injury free winter and looks like his career is back on track.

European 400m Champion Matthew Hudson-Smith (GBR) won the 400m at the same meet in a time of 45.55 secs. The Florida based Lance Brauman coach athlete will look to race again in Florida in the next few weeks.
